Excellence In Early Years

Provision in the Early Years must be well crafted to ensure pupils get off to a flying start in school and then develop to be fully prepared for the National Curriculum.

During this in-house training course, Lisa will work with your Early Years Leader(s) to evaluate:

• on entry procedures and how well designed these are to enable staff support pupils from their first day in school.
• how well early language and reading are prioritised and taught.   
• how well the indoor and outdoor learning environment are enabling the all round development of children.
• the effectiveness of early maths provision.
• the skills and knowledge of the Early Years team in your school.

At the end of this day, Lisa will feedback to your Early Years Leader, Headteacher and any other leaders/staff the school wishes. This will summarise the key strengths in Early Years practice identified during the day, as well as any key next steps. 

A full, written summary report will also be completed and sent to your school within one school week.
