Effective Appraisal is an essential part of effective and sustained school improvement
Lisa will work with Appraisal Leaders to fully prepare them for their role. The training lasts two hours and will ensure leaders are:
aware of the statutory requirements of the appraisal process and how your policy meets these.
able to support colleagues in setting challenging, but appropriate, targets and how to ensure that these are measurable and impact on the pupils at your school.
aware of the expectations of teachers at different career stages and how these must be considered in the Appraisal process
able to be well prepared in order to manage any potential difficult meetings.
