Behaviour in Schools

Many schools report that children are starting school with more complex needs and more challenging behaviour than ever before. Lisa has worked extensively with schools to meet this challenge, helping leaders create calm, safe and purposeful environments where every pupil can learn. The bespoke Behaviour Curriculums she has written for individual schools have been praised by Ofsted inspectors.

Areas of Support

Bespoke Behaviour Curriculums

Working with leaders to write a Behaviour Curriculum tailored to the school, setting out the routines, habits and expectations pupils are taught, so that good behaviour is taught explicitly rather than assumed.

Whole-School Behaviour Policy

Reviewing and developing behaviour policies that are clear, consistent and fair, and that staff, pupils and families understand and follow.

Routines and Consistency

Establishing simple, shared routines across the school so that every adult responds to behaviour in the same way, and pupils know exactly what is expected of them.

Understanding Behaviour and SEND

Drawing on Lisa's SEND expertise to help staff understand what lies behind challenging behaviour, identify unmet needs early, and put the right support in place.

Early Years and School Readiness

Supporting Reception and early years teams to help children develop self-regulation, independence and positive relationships from the very start of school.

Staff Training and Confidence

Training and coaching for teachers and support staff, so that everyone feels confident managing behaviour calmly and consistently.
